Please note the sentence patterns that involves the character “也” in this chapter. First you have 朋友给我送礼物，我会笑着说：谢谢！，then you can follow it up with a similar sentence with a 也 in the middle to say "also". 朋友帮了我的忙，我也会说声：谢谢！The character 也 appears right after 我.

This week we review the measure words 本，份，些，只. Out of these four, 些 is a little special because we use it not to count but to say something like "some" such as 有些， 一些，这些，那些.
