Please note the sentence patterns that involves the character “也” in this chapter. First you have 朋友给我送礼物，我会笑着说：谢谢！，then you can follow it up with a similar sentence with a 也 in the middle to say "also". 朋友帮了我的忙，我也会说声：谢谢！The character 也 appears right after 我.

Elementary Chinese (E111):

This week we covered four measure words: 个，位，段，首

个 is by far the most common measure word. According to Larry's very unscientific estimation, you have about 40% chance of getting it right if you go with 个 when you really don't know what the proper measure word is.

位 is reserved for people. It... you know, this review thing is taking too much time. Wait, perhaps I don't have to do this. I'm the 功课 guy. Yeah, let's do this.

Please come up with 2 sentences for each measure word. Each sentences must be 8 characters or longer. You have until next week Thursday.
